Copperwire Button Barrettes

As I worked on the button barrettes, I wanted to make them fancier. The barrettes were plain and didn't stand out in your hair. So with the copperwire, I created different styles with beads, flowers, and copperwire. Each barrette has different unique buttons on it, and never the same set of buttons on each barrette. After setting the buttons with the copperwire, I create the sides with different beads and silk flowers. The buttons on the barrette create the design of the beads and sides. After creating the unique barrette, The wire is then set and tightened to hold everything in place. Then I hot glue the buttons and copperwire. This protects the copperwire ends and set the buttons in place. As you wear the barrettes the hot glue will let go of the buttons or barrette. Even though this lets loose, it still holds the buttons in the perfect placement that I set them, so years down the road your barrette will still look as unique as you first wore them. I create two of each barrette for anyone who likes to wear two of them. Otherwise there will not be any like them again.
