When I saw the tide pod container the first time a lots of craft ideas came to me. The main problem was how to clean the labels off.
These are the items you will need:
Pure acetone
Bucket
Liquid soap
Hot water
Towel
Lots of rags or paper towels
Finger nails or non scratch scraper
Non scratch pad
Hairdryer
Packing tape
Empty throw away container
1. The first thing I did was to carefully remove the top and side lid stickers. These will peel off cleanly if you pull up a side and peel evenly. If some of the sticker residue remains, use the label you removed to pull it off. If it doesnt come off, then you will need to use what works to clean it off. You will have to remove the label down to the sticky. For me some came off with a hair dryer heated up, then used tape to pull it off. Some came off with the pure acetone.
2. Fill the bucket up with hot water. I put about a tablespoon of liquid detergent in the bottom to mix as I added water. Leave at least an inch up st the top open. I left about two inches for safety. Put the pods container in the bucket and sink it to the bottom. You might have to use something to keep it submerged. I left mine submerged for in the hot soapy water for five to six hours.
3. I removed the container and drained the water out of it. I then used my nails to remove the paper label. Do not use something that scratches. You can use a bread tie that is plastic if you have one. Use a towel to catch the water drainage.

4. When the paper is removed, use your flat fingers to rub where the label was. This will roll up and remove the rest of the paper left on the container.

5. Use a rag and the acetone to remove the white layer.

6. Using the acetone on the rag, wipe along the edge of the label. Using your fingernail or something hard that won't scratch, and scrape the white off around the edge. Continue around the label area.

7. Take the non-abrasive scratcher and lots of acetone to remove the glue layer. The glue will roll up into balls. Have a container to put the glue in or paper towels to throw away.

8. When all of the glue is removed, you need to wash and rinse the container and lid. Turn upside down to drain, and lid on edge to drain.
9. When the container is dry, it is ready for you to work with.
